Community Closet

The Community Closet assists low income families and individuals by providing them with free clothing and footwear. This program is operated solely by our volunteers, and is located in Bissell Centre’s West building (10530 - 96 Street). The Community Closet has proven to be very successful as low income families and individuals have their own place to ‘shop’ with dignity assisted by dedicated volunteers.

External agencies may refer clients to Bissell Centre’s intake workers in our Drop-in Centre to access the Community Closet. Please refer clients to visit Bissell Centre’s Drop-in Centre during intake hours (Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 9 am – 3:30 pm) in our West building.
